Adult Intermediate Lessons

Whether you have just completed our beginner ski school sessions or an aspiring intermediate skier we have a session for you. Offering instruction from our top class ski coaches.

Adult ski school for aspiring intermediates are devided into 3 levels, all of which are designed to blend and develop skills at a rate which suits you. Each level has an aim, however, the exact content will be tailored to the specific needs or the group.

1st class tuition with trained instructors
Boot and Ski Hire

Clothing requirements

Long trousers preferably not jeans as these can get wet and heavy
Long sleeved top
Gloves are mandatory for all skiers/snowboarders

LEVEL 5
AIM: TO IMPROVE CONTROL AND SPEED READY FOR THE STEEPER TERRAIN

Warm up exercises
Revision and practice, especially posture, balance and flexibility
Varying the use of steering to cope with steeper terrain

LEVEL 6
AIM: TO DEVELOP CONTROL OF DIRECTION USING BASIC SWINGS

Revision and practice, especially posture, balance and flexibility
Refining snowplough turns and introducing the 'basic swing'

LEVEL 7
AIM: TO DEVELOP BASIC SWINGS INTO SIMPLE PARELLEL TURNS, REFINE PARELLELS AND APPLY THE SKILLS LEARNT ON A VARIABLE TERRAIN.

Warm up exercises
Revision and practice, especially posture, balance and flexibility
Introduction to the parallel turn
Refining parallel turns and progressing into more skilful skiing
Transferring skills onto a variable terrain, introduction to 'carving'
